Why would Cotto lay it on a younger, bigger and arguably harder hitter in that division? He'd get sparked out for trying that ****** ****.

I still think that if Cotto can avoid getting KO'd early, he can win this and even by stoppage late, maybe.

Cotto can not defeat Canelo, 1 reason Canelo power>cotto.

Slow start? He dropped him in the first round and finished him by the third. Kirkland is a big, strong guy who presses you into the ropes. People think it's better to waste energy trying to push the guy off than it is to block the punches and let the guy expend his own energy? Maybe that's why it only took 4 or 5 well placed punches in the third round to take Kirkland out instead of raging a back and forth war allowing Kirkland to potentially land meaningful punches.

Cotto can try to press him like Kirkland did but Canelo will likely be able to force him off as he isn't as strong as Kirkland is. I just hope Cotto doesn't punk out again. If he doesn't look real good against Geale, I don't think he will fight Canelo.
