    • Good fight for Canelo! Can't wait to see Canelo vs. GGG! I think Canelo vs. Cotto will be great too! I wish Oscar had not sued Haymon, because Mayweather vs. Canelo 2 would be HUGE!!!

      • Big canelo supporter but this was Kirkland. A glass chinned mismatch

Really shows just how good Floyd is.
arreola looked like a stud when he crushed seth mithell. what does that prove? shouldn't you judge a guy based on his fights against the best guys in the division and not fights against guys with glass chins?

                • Canelo hits too hard to be taken on toe to toe as evidenced in the Mayweather and Lara fight, your pretty much going to have to run to beat um. The only guy who can truly slug with him is GGG but I dont think Oscar is going to take that kinda risk with his star.

Kirkland brought the drama to Canelo, landing hard combinations and getting Canelo to the ropes. Canelo started firing back and dropped Kirkland with a big right hand. Kirkland got up and started firing back but Canelo was unloading with both hands and had him in serious trouble in the closing moments.

Although the KO by Ishida made Kirkland look like he has a weak chin, I doubt few (if anyone) could have stood up to the bombs Canelo landed tonight.
