Great fight, props to both. Kirkland is warrior, and always makes for exciting fights. This is the kind fight that should have been on display last week, instead 5 million fans tuned in for just a lackluster "superfight." Mayweather-Pacquiao almost killed boxing, tonight's fight revived it. Somehow the casual fans need to get exposed to fights like tonight's.

Anyway, Canelo destroys Cotto.

What was nice is some uncertainty in the fight. A more offensive fight and some fireworks. Props to both fighters.

Canelo reminds me of Molsey in the sense that he will eat up a come forward brawler simple and plain. You will not win a war against Canelo, only the slick boxers can defeat this guy. I know many think GGG would crush Canelo but his style is tailor made to make Alvarez shine, plus Canelo is a more established fighter with a real resume compared to Golovkin. With that said, GGG might lack the resume, and it may just be all hype right now, but the guy seems like a monster. Great fight if Canelo gets by Cotto.

Kirkland is a good last name. All American if you ask me. But he disappointed me in my prediction. I predicted him getting KOd in the 9th. WTF dude!! He got KOd in the third??? More credit to Ginger.
