He's actually right
I didn't bet because I told people I was watching with that I think manny will win but get robbed
But if the injury was that serious, it wAs a selfish decison to go ahead but he gave unselfish reasons- "don't wanna let fans down"
He didn't think it through
Fans wants Floyd to lose and an exciting fight and manny is saying the injury prevented him from doing either
So wilder is , in essence, rightComment

Well said, bud. I think Manny's heart was in the right place by not wanting to delay the fight -- the backlash would've been titanic sized. That said, he took a gamble and it backfired in epic fashion. Now he's being burned at the stake.Comment

The backclash would be big if Floyd pulled out- endless accusations of being a fraud scared duck
But if manny did it and postponed there would be little backclash
Tickets hadn't even gone on sale when he sustained the injury
And mgm grand I'm sure would have been nice enough to refund hotel roomsComment

I just don't buy it dude. The gamble was mentioning it in the first place. Once that was done, it snowballed into trying to throw the commission under a bus and then getting exposed as a liar. Not mentioning the injury and justy saying: "the better man on the night won" seems like a much better option. Pacquiao lost his (fake) image as well as the fight due to his l(and his team's) lack of class.Comment
