of course you think GGG should stay at 160. If your being honest with yourself, you know if he moves up, Ward probably beats him
GGG stops Ward before round 6. In fact, the first clean shot Ward gets hit with signals the end of the fight. He would go down and if he is able to continue the ref would be stopping the fight soon after. He could only make it to the next round if it is a late knock down. In that case, he may not answer the bell for the next round.

But could you see GGG fighting Kovalev or even Beterbiev (I think Beterbiev may have a shot at taking Kovalev in the future tbh), great fights but I'm afraid GGG would be too small for those guys.
I agree with you. I cannot see Golovkin moving to LHW, it would be simply too much weight for him to gain at this point in his life. I just look at that as a 'dream' possibility, like fighting Floyd. I would not want to see titles at stake in a catchweight fight so I do not even consider that as a possibility.
It's also possible that Ward can no longer make 168 and will have to fight Kovalev and will be destroyed. That could also ruin my premise.
If he doesn't get a shot a Cotto next. Then maybe he should forget about unifying and just go up to 168.
There is more names for him up there, than what's left at 160. And it's time for his 'big fight'.
I think the only guys that really test him at 168 are Froch and Ward.

Oh yeah, I think Kovalev knocks him out and Beterbiev steam rolls over Ward. Ward can wait for GGG all he wants, GGG doesn't need the fight but Ward sure does! GGG is just chilling and there is way more fights for him at 160 than 168. At 168 there is only Ward, Froch (one foot into retirement) and Degale/Dirrell (probably won't fight GGG until their names and his name get bigger anyway). Ward is the one that will have to move up he doesn't have anybody to fight at Super Middle. He refuses to fight the Dirrell brothers, Froch is probably going to retire, Degale won't fight him until he starts making a name for himself, and who the heck wants to see a Jack fight lol.
