Heard that... WBA won't do jack since they know Haymon is going to drop them eventually. They don't do jack in anything anyway

Danny Jacobs has a pretty good punch, fights well both southpaw/orthodox and can fight going backward, so it's not a cake walk.

Still, that decision isn't his to make, tbh. Whether he'd win the fight or not, HBO isn't going to put Golovkin-Jacobs on PPV, HBO isn't going to let Golovkin fight on a PBC broadcast, and HBO isn't going to back Golovkin with the type of money likely needed to win the bid on the open market.

If the WBA makes the move, HBO will go to K2, pull their card, and force them to go to the public with some silly excuse over why the other side is responsible for the fight not happening.

Golovkin has an EXCLUSIVE contract with HBO. Do people not understand the meaning of the word EXCLUSIVE? Among other things, it means that you won't be seeing GGG on a garbage PBC broadcast anytime in the foreseeable future.
Being exclusive to HBO does absolutely nothing to compel a champion not to make a mandatory title defense, if one is deemed by the sanctioning body in question.

If the WBA calls for the fight, and Golovkin can't fulfill the fight, he get's stripped of his title.

No sanctioning body will make one of Haymon's fighters the mandatory challenger for their title. With all the crap going down, and all the evidence pointing to Haymon wanting to institute his own PBC titles, it just ain't going to happen. Golovkin is also the most celebrated middleweight in the sport today and the WBA will not choose anyone over him to be their title holder. The guy defends his title FOUR times per year and has been talking about changing that up to SIX times per year. That is the kind of sanctioning dollars that no other champion in the sport brings to any governing body.

Do you really think WBA want to risk that only to end up with another fighter who may fight once a year if they are lucky? Not happening.

You want the fight, or you don't want the fight? This "down the road" **** is saying that you don't want the fight, but making a vague statement as if you do.

So you wanna fight GGG, but not now? Some time in the future? Wow interesting. Don't mention Golovkin again unless you are ready to fight but i doubt Daddy Al will ever let you. You looked pretty ****ty in your last fight.
