I'll contend that Mayweather's power is underrated. It's not like he's really planting his feet and throwing punches with his whole body much. We've instead become used to him throwing long jabs that hurt enough to get respect, but won't result in a knockout.
    Eg:

    As opposed to:

Floyd was 28 when he fought gatti, he is now 38

I can't see Floyd recover from the Pac fight. People paid $100 PPV and he ran from a smaller injured guy. Floyd used to boast his fights were like "bank robberies". Well, he pulled off the biggest robbery in boxing with around 5 million buys. Congratulations??

I'm actually curious what his PPV numbers will be, if he fights again this year. Realistically, I could easily see it go under 500,000 buys.
What boring fight did Hopkins have when he knocked anybody out? I can't recall.

Not sure if the matchmakers from Top Rank will allow something like that again.

Time to go back to fighting Jr. Super lightweights or weight drain welterweights/ Super welterweights.

The problem with Pacman being the B side is that he doesn't have the weight advantage against his opponents.

No rematch please, Floyd dominated Pacman, even with a healthy shoulder (if he really hurted his shoulder wich I doubt so) it will be the same.

What fight were you watching? Pacquiao was winning the fight and reinjured a torn rotator cuff which is confirmed he already had surgery for. The fight was alot closer than you fanatics would like to admit. Most of floyds soft punches were blocked by pacquiao and even a one armed pacquiao had Floyd stunned on numerous occasions. Pacquiao landed the cleaner, harder punches all fight. Shane Mosley predicted a mayweather win but thought Manny won. Holyfield thought Manny won, and so did skip bayless. Personally I thought it was 7-5 mayweather, and the rounds were really close and the rounds he did win he did just barely except for the last few. The athletic commission cheated pacquiao and mayweather will duck a healthy two armed pacquiao after experiencing a one armed pacquiao almost winning with a torn rotator cuff which his surgeon said was pretty substantial

There was little to suggest in this fight that a second bout would result in a different outcome.

Pacquiao got humiliated and even further post-fight.

                    No thanks.

I say yes to a rematch...without Floyd trying to re-injure Pacquiao's arm in the fight. We all know that's the real reason he won.

And guys, please, Floyd didn't "dominate" the fight. He just barely did enough to win the most rounds.
