At least B-Hop could KO his opponents when he "bored" fans with his defensive style. Floyd can't put down his opponents. Now every sports fan knows Floyd can just win fights by tapping, then running and hugging.

I can't see Floyd recover from the Pac fight. People paid $100 PPV and he ran from a smaller injured guy. Floyd used to boast his fights were like "bank robberies". Well, he pulled off the biggest robbery in boxing with around 5 million buys. Congratulations??

I'm actually curious what his PPV numbers will be, if he fights again this year. Realistically, I could easily see it go under 500,000 buys.

I think don't Floyd's inspirations were actual boxers like Muhammad Ali and Ray Robinson, although he has stolen some things from each guy. I think his actual inspiration was the REAL "Pretty Boy Floyd."

Eh, the point is that the mayweather from fights like may/gatti has been gone for some time. Ortiz didn't know punches were coming (his own fault), but it demonstrated that Floyd could hit hard enough though he generally doesn't.

I'll contend that Mayweather's power is underrated. It's not like he's really planting his feet and throwing punches with his whole body much. We've instead become used to him throwing long jabs that hurt enough to get respect, but won't result in a knockout.

Don't you pay attention those are at 130 at 147 he probably stuns guys but doesn't provide KO power even with all the steroids he takes. At least Barry Bonds hit home runs when he was on the juice

Yea, the guy is pushing 40.. He was NEVER a KO artist though, he was always a lopsided decision winner, that's what he does. A 2005 version of Floyd massacres Pacquiao, but this 38 year old version humiliated him which is good enough for me.
