Of course they have. Arum clearly dies it to Pac on a regular basis hahahaha. But whatever. "It's about the fighters!" And all that jazz.

That makes Haymon a de facto promoter, in direct violation of the Ali Act.......
This is exactly what Floyd Mayweather did when he was working with Golden Boy Promotions before he acquired a license for his own promotional company. He paid GBP a flat fee plus expenses to serve as the promoter and Mayweather kept all the profits.

I am not sure this is a winnable argument for GBP, considering that they had the same relationship with Mayweather.

Now, you know the resident NSB lawyer is Bobby Schmurda. You know, the guy who thinks Pac/Arum are in "big, big trouble" from all those fans crying/trolling about paying for PPVs, yet Haymon getting his ass sued by all these different en****** doesn't seem to raise the same concern in him

The Ali Act permits a fighter to act as his own promoter

Wahhhh u still crying. Go have a seat. I've never hid the fact that I am a lawyer and honestly Idc if ppl don't believe me. That's their business. Not sure who would lie about being a lawyer tho. It's not that great of a job, trust me. Anyways like I saud before they are in trouble. Whether those cases go anywhere or not, they are gonna be spending money trying to put out that fire. Seriously ur acting like a little *****. Take your lumps and move on.

Law isn't hard to figure out if you read it correctly, the part that's tough is all the loopholes you can find and about finding the right one. That's where the hard work is, just about everyone knows Haymon is in violation of something. What exactly and how to nail him is the issue, Oscar's lawyers figured it out it seems.

Solid point. Hadn't thought about this.

Oscar be like include me in all this so I get money & its all good, exclude me & I'm suing...on behalf of the fighters lol.

Fwiw I've always rooted for Oscar & GBP, but he's made it really had to root for him over the past year or so, but I guess desperate situations call for desperate moves.

Ehhhhhh I wouldn't say it isn't hard to figure out. It is but it's not because of the rules or the strict law as we know it. It's because of the exceptions. There are always exceptions. And if there isn't, there are always lawyers trying to create exceptions. It's ultimately up to the courts. But that's where all the case law come from. And that's where civil litigators make their bones. Criminal law is kinda different but some of the same stuff applies.
