Loma is looking pretty perfect to me also...his only weaknesses are in terms of gameplan, pro experience and MAYBE power...say what you like, but Loma isn't getting knocked down multiple times and going life and death with average Japanese fighters. Rigo is very skilled and a defensive wizard (seemingly most of the time), no denying that, but he has his flaws and I hope he faces Loma at some point in the future soon.

Also, I'm not saying Rigo is a bad boxer or even comparing him to Loma...but Rigo is almost 35 years old and isn't going on much longer. In the few years he has remaining I don't see him reaching P4P #1 not because of lack of skill, but lack of exposure, fans, and quantity of fights.

Loma was the star of the show on May 2nd! I've lost interest in Manny and Floyd. It's all about Lomachenko now. He's taking over.

I'm a fan of both Rigondeaux and Lomachenko, but I feel Loma has a more exciting style, more time on his side, and is on his way to the top of the p4p.

Let's hope so brother, we welcome another believer into our midst!

Depends on what you call a "believer" and "non-believer". Do I believe that he is talented and will do good in the future? Yes. Do I believe that the hype around him is deserved and he will be a future P4P star? Based on what saw from him so far: hell no. I don't give a single fuck about anybody's amateur resume, in the pros everyone starts from zero for me, Loma is no exception and I think that this sickening hype (4-1 resume and people already put him on P4P lists and call gim future P4P star) is exist because his amateur record. If you wouldn't know about that he would be just another talented prospect.

However what's really strange for me that it seems like on this site the fanbase of Ukranian and Russian fighter (and Golovkin) are pretty the same and I don't really see that they support any other fighters. And yeh a war going on right now between them so it feels particularly strange.
