Peterson at 143. Since it wouldn't be a belt fight (who gives a crap about Garcia's Super Lightweight titles; Floyd doesn't), any weight will do.

Easy fight for Floyd, and most likely more fan friendly than Manny.

I really don't get all of this GGG talk. Manny, who is WAY lighter/quicker/faster than GGG had trouble hitting Floyd yet people think a dude weighing 170+lb's on fight night could hit him? Aren't you the same dude's who said Floyd needs to stop fighting these big lumbering fighters?

Simply put, he would EASILY pot shot GGG all night.dodge almost all of his punches & just like Canelo his only hope is landing that "one big punch" which obviously won't happen.

Cotto and Maidana are slower than Manny yet landed more than him, so what's your point? If you honestly think it would turn out like Floyd/Canelo, you are sorely mistaken. Golovkin's jab alone would be a big enough punch to change the dynamic of the fight.

Why would a small welterweight step all the way to challenge a full fledge middleweight KO artist to please bloodthirsty sobs when he can put it on cruise to 49-0 like Marciano did. Otherwise, he should challenge Chavez jr. Or even Klitchko to try to lose.

Mayweather is not a small welterweight he is a solid WW. If he was a small WW he could make 144 when he fought Marquez.....unless he needed another advantage against a guy who was already moving up 2 weight classes and why would TBE need another advantage against a lightweight????

People need to get this match-up out of their heads, nothing about Floyd's character would make me believe that this fight is even on his mind. Since I've been watching Mayweather, there was never a match-up where I thought, "he's in trouble." GGG is that sort of match-up and that's exactly why it won't and would never happen.
