Fans waited for five long years. Last Saturday night it finally happen, as Floyd Mayweather Jr. won a twelve round unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather is looking at the month of September to stage the final fight of his pro career. With a record of 48-0 and 26KOs, a win would place Mayweather in position to break the record of heavyweight great Rocky Marciano.
Several possible names have been thrown around for Mayweather's next fight. ESPN expert analyst Teddy Atlas has two names that he doesn't want to see. Atlas has no interest in seeing Mayweather face Pacquiao again, and he has no interest in watching Mayweather fight Amir Khan.
