      Floyd got hit in the 4th, moved back against the ropes, covered up, blocked all of Manny's punches and then walked Manny down. That isn't hurt.

        Look, the judges gave it to Floyd but the least you can do is not lie. The booing was not against Manny but against Floyd. Happened when Floyd moved too much instead of engaged and when Floyd used those tactics. Fans paid big bucks so they are allowed to boo at Floyd.

            The Pep example doesn't make sense. Willie Pep completely contradicts the notion that defense hasnt always been more important. And Pep was a slicker, craftier, and dirtier defender than Mayweather.
