His 2nd and 3rd best wins were vs. past prime 40+ year old fighters.

um no. calzaghe did what santa cruz is doing now except calzaghe did it for ten years! why would americans like that? in ten years if santa cruz gets a gift over 44 year old rigo will he be as great as calzaghe?

How can anyone have Hopkins winning that fight? Joe was clearly a very good fighter, but he suffered from taking the Wilder route in the first 2/3 of his career.

Every single card that I've seen scored for Hopkins was the same, a one point margin if you give Hopkins every possible break. Most of the cards correctly had Calzaghe by 2-3 points.

the stats are wrong that's how. it's been proven. did you even watch the fight? you could clearly see calzaghe missing yet you didn't think it was strange that compubox had him landing so much? they went back and counted again and hopkins outlanded him by far and with the much better punches. i'm sure you will change your score now that you know this new info lol

no if you give every possible break to calzaghe its still 114-113 hopkins. that's why its a robbery. hopkins clearly won at least 6 rounds. you could easily give hopkins the first 8. calzaghe didn't clearly win a round till 9. people were way too generous to calzaghe and not generous enough to the guy landing punches instead of missing and running into punches.

If you get that score giving Joe every possible break, how come I've never seen a score for Hopkins by more than one point? Surely someone would have given some of the close ones to Hopkins. Unless of course you give points to Hopkins for faking fouls.

His resume is a lot better than Sven Ottke's.
