Lmao..... Why didn't the time warner CEO that owns hbo not be needed for manny..
Les moonves is so much higher up the food chain...
Showtime and hbo boxing executives
Then showtime/hbo sports division executives
Then showtime/hbo Vice Presidents
Then showtime/hbo CEOs... This is the highest it should go
But it went past that to the levels of
CBS Vice President of showtime division
CBS executive management
Literally the top guy CEO les moonves
Notice how no one from hbo' parent company of time warner had to included.. If it was manny and arum being the problem it would have been their boss coming down, not the other way around..
The top dog isn't going to get involved unless there is a problem and a reason to be there...Comment

Right. And he's explained what the problem is many times. Yet you decided to invent a new reason. Why did you choose to do that?Lmao..... Why didn't the time warner CEO that owns hbo not be needed for manny..

The problem was that both sides had tried unsuccessfully to make the fight before without it happening. Moonves stepped in to act as a buffer. If anything, it appears he was more concerned about the other sides intentions.
According to Roach, Moonves expressed hesitation about Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, who put one Pacquiao fight on Showtime during a leadership change at HBO, but then turned his back on Showtime with Moonves believing two more fights were coming.
“You’re going to have to deal with Bob,” Roach told Moonves. “Manny just signed a new contract with him.”Comment

That qoute doesn't prove anything either way.. That's just rehashing that arum pimped showtime for the manny-mosely fight, has no bearing on the actual negotioations. The problem was that both sides had tried unsuccessfully to make the fight before without it happening. Moonves stepped in to act as a buffer. If anything, it appears he was more concerned about the other sides intentions.

There was no reason for moonves to be there except to get floyd to agree. And since his presence was obviously required, It seems he was needed on the CBS side to get it done.. His old feelings for arum weren't the cause for his presence being needed..
Why was his presence needed???
I'm sure Espinoza could have handled it with hbo execs.. At the very most the CEOs of hbo and showtime...Comment
