Les Moonves made this happen. He put the pressure on Floyd.

I always thought Mayweather won 8-4, if not 9-3. Never was a close fight to me. A strange one though.
That's fine, and also not surprising. And you can't blame anyone for feeling that way.

If Mayweather vs De la Hoya was close then its safe to say without a doubt that Bradley really did beat Manny in the first fight.

Cause that is what the scorecards said and they are always right, yes?

Don't really care how anyone feels. It's my opinion. The one you're "curious" about.

BTW, oldest post I could find was in 2008. Someone asking if Floyd should rematch Oscar. Here's my reply:

True that but that has nothing to do with what I said. He just beat the semi-retired fighter already. Oscar's lucky he didn't get stopped...and I'm supposed to accept this one because if it makes money, it makes sense? **** that, I love Floyd but I'm a fan of the sport FIRST. I've noticed not too many people on this site are...

            Go figure.

I agree with you, he beat a semi retired Oscar. And it was the only fight I rooted for Mayweather in my life. Believe it or not.

                I never liked Oscar.

When Oscar and Arum were not on good terms, the reason the fight wasn't happening was because of Bob Arum.

As soon as Oscar is not promoting Floyd any longer and he is back on good terms with Uncle Bob, then it becomes, Floyd was forced into the fight.

Let's completely ignore the fact that BOB was the one that did everything in his power not to have this fight get made on May 2nd. Going so far as saying in would be disrespectful to Mexicans to place it on that date. Then when he is able to feature a fighter on the card, he spotlights a RUSSIAN, with the only Mexican coming from Al Haymon's stable.

This fight was being negotiated early last year and Floyd confirmed that by saying he had a surprize opponent in May so just stop with the "Floyd was forced into it" garbage.

Not surprised. After all, I'm not the one who assumed they think they know the other person
