The USA is a very big country, with very diverse and distinct regions. One of the main problems is that fighters don't often fight in front of home crowds. There are only a few areas in the US that regularly have major boxing cards. A guy from Utah is gonna have a harder time building a fan base when he has to fight in California, New York, Texas etc. We are very divided by region, and many regions don't have a good boxer to root for. Then many regions that do have notable boxers rarely have cards in them.Comment

Australia trump you in almost all world sports.can you imagine the best indian athletes going up against our boys?
they'd be several inches short, several pounds light, and several steps slower. lebron james is 6'9" tall, 270 lbs, and moves like a welterweight. men of that size are common in the NBA. hell, they're common in college basketball.
it's becoming apparent to me that brits will never understand this.
americans are the most athletic people on the planet. our athletes are most successful. it's logical to assume that they are the most talented. any objective criteria supports that.
The only sports you guys are good at are the ones you invented, one if an off shoot of netball, the other an off shoot of cricket and the 3rd a pussified version of rugby. So yeah, good stuff.Comment
