Unfortunately, I doubt anyone cares about Bryant Jennings saying this. I hope him voicing this means something, but I doubt it.

Jennings has to use his foot movement and long jab.

He is younger, and should be better conditioned if he trained hard.

Foot movement, lateral, head movement, don't back straight up, don't get trapped on the ropes or in a corner.

And keep firing, to the body, arms, head, the goal is to out-land Wlad. His only hope of winning is to tire Wlad and outwork him in the end.

It doesn't make Wlad's cheating okay, but it's not like it's unpreventable.
If Wlad holds, Jennings has to keep punching wherever he can, rip the body with the free hand(s), wrestle and rough him up. He needs to show Wlad he means business and that holding comes with price. All too often, Wlad's opponents are content with getting held, being orderly and waiting for the ref to break 'em. That what Klitschko banks on.

some things are only preventable by a ref. its like trying to prepare for someone throwing low blows at you. how do you do that? the guy is so huge that anytime his opponent gets close he just holds. it's up to the ref to stop it not jennings because he can't.

I'll give Pulev credit for that, he was rough in the clinch.

we saw how mediocre klitschko was before he developed his clinching strategy so we know its gives him a huge advantage. why wouldn't jennings worry about a huge advantage? these guys are some of the best boxers in the world and even little things can determine the outcome of a fight, a huge thing like clinching nonstop obviously gives klitschko an advantage that most of the time is insurmountable.

Someone posted a Sechbach video the other day with Jennings talking about how hes going to deal with WK in the clinch. He wants to keep his hands and arms in between himself and Wlad, and not get drawn into reciprocating the hug, from there he can keep his hands free and keep working.

Good words, i dont think he is experienced enough to pull it off though.

I think refs would be more harsh on WK if his opponent was trying to fight in the clinch. It would make it much more obvious that its Wlad that is spoiling, and its not just a natural coming together type clinch.

clinchko locks their arms up, pushes his opponents head down, and even puts his opponents in a headlock so that they can't throw punches in the clinches. the ref does nothing.

Doesn't matter. Wlad will knock Jennings out cold.
