excuses. The "not ******" Floyd fans talk about it often. Thing is, those that oppose cry and moan about how weight drained Chico was and how he wasn't focused on the fight. Which is hilarious considering he stayed at 130 after he was so drained against Floyd.
That's a really good win for Floyd. And honestly, I doubt many folks even seen that fight.
they could fight at 147 and floyd would have still whooped him.
chico was great but floyd was bad for him.
he couldn't set up/land his power.
chico had good skills but not in floyd's league.
plus even though floyd is not a powerful puncher at 147-up, he was at lower weight classes and could crack chico's chin.
bad matchup for chico.Comment

People always look at Chico's five L's never taking into consideration that 3 of his losses came when he was shot. That first Castillo fight effectively ended his career as a top notch fighter as far as I'm concerned. What a war that was. People also forget that Chico went on a three fight run where he avenged his loss to Cassamayor, beat the then unbeaten Freitas, and beat Castillo in one of the best fights I've ever seen. I mean the kid, in his last 7 fights, fought Cassamayor three times, Castillo twice, Clottey and Freitas. Who the **** does that lol. Anyways if I had been his handlers it would of been bum city for a long time after that first Castillo fight.chico was like 33-0 with like 27 ko's or some shiet.
fool was a 130 lb thomas hearns. 5'11/6'0 foot at 130. monster ko power and yet had boxing skill.
people don't realize chico WAS RANKED HIGHER THAN FLOYD in the division AND P4P.
that was floyd's finest hour.
****** floyd fans don't talk about chico win enough. if pac beat that chico, i would bring it up in every god damn pac thread.Comment
