It wouldn't surprise me if Haymon is biased towards "certain" fighters but Chavez Jr screwed himself over.

He left TR, underestimated his opponent and quit on his stool. He's worth nothing now. I really doubt that was the investment Haymon was looking for.

You look at the fights JR was being offered... a Froch PPV, GGG, even Canelo rumors, and he jumps promoters then quits on his stool against semi-known Fonfara. He plain old ****ed up.
