Haymon hasn't done much to connect with Mexican and Mexican American boxing fans, or done all that much with the Mexican and Mexican American fighters in his stable.

And now,]without Golden Boy Promotions doing his promoting, I wouldn't expect it to improve without some changes.

It's a pretty whiny and poorly written rant, imo, but there are sure to be some folks who feel this way.

If there are enough of them, hopefully Oscar (or somebody) will see this dissatisfaction as an opportunity and capitalize on it.

Yeah, the article itself was pretty bad.

But I think there's truth to the argument that Haymon doesn't connect very well with Mexican and Mexican American audiences, just like I think there's truth to the argument Arum doesn't really connect with Black American audiences.
