Fact of the matter
is that Mexicans/Mexicans Amreicans ARE boxing! The 2 biggest dates to fight on are Cinco De Mayo and Diez y Seis weekends, Not 4th of July or any other date. The 2 biggest beers sponsors are Corona and Tecate. The biggest fan base is Mexican/Mexican American. The majority of boxers in the sport are Mexican/Mexican American.
If Haymon were to neglect that this rabid fan base, he loses...end of storyComment

I thought this part was funny too. Al Haymon is not trying to resurrect Berto's career. He hopes to use Berto as a stepping stone for prospects. Really to get the publics attention. This quote is just gold, which one of you wrote this
.. Havent seen bardock in a while probably him
"John Molina was overwhelmed and handed over to Adrien Broner.
Josesito Lopez was used to resurrect the career of Andre Berto.
Jhonny Gonzalez was bait to be brutally beaten by Gary Russell."Comment

Here are some other funny ones
"It all began with Miguel Vazquez who virtually sold his title to Haymon to crown one of his top pugilist in Mickey Bey in September of 2014."
"Robert Guerrero who had its golden era with Golden Boy Promotions was used to build the record of one of the promises of Haymon, welterweight beltholder Keith Thurman."
"So, now who is next? Abner Mares? Leo Santa Cruz? That is the most likely scenario and it is almost certain that those two or at least one of them will be thrown to the lions."
It is f**king hilarious.Comment

He would have to be the dumbest businessman in the world to purposely want the Mexican boxers to loose....They often have the biggest fan-bases and can bring his cards the most ratings/money...
Plus why would a Black promoter prefer a White Polish fighter over a Mexican fighter??? Perhaps Sam Watson is just friendlier with Fonfara and his team and that's why he was happy to see him win....
Andre Berto vs Lopez was seen as a 50/50 fight by the vast majority of people...And Lopez was winning clearly before he got caught....It was a good matchup that Berto happened to win...
Lol feeding Vasquez to Mikey Bey....
Thurman vs Guerrero and Gonzales vs Russell Jr were good matchups that turned out to be fairly 1 sided...
Making "Mexican fighters loose" is more when Haymon matches some 36 year old Mexican with a 23-7 record vs Charlo or some other upcoming fighterLast edited by animalfan10; 04-22-2015, 04:41 PM.Comment

"Josesito Lopez was used to resurrect the career of Andre Berto." Well, I agree with this one. Lopez was winning comfortably before the 2 knockdown rule came into effect.
And Miguel Vazquez basically did sell his title to Al Haymon. That's what he gets for making a deal with the devil though.
The rest was reaching though.
Al Haymon might have a Pro-Ebony agenda. I mean Broner, Charlo, and Quillin come in overweight and then all of a sudden it's announced that they were allowed to,
.
Why would John Molina kill himself to make 140 and get busted for diuretics if he could have came in at 141?Comment

race card
Boxing ***8220;blogger***8221; playing the race card to drive a wedge between Al Haymon and Mexican fighters and fans. I guess he fed Broner to Marcos and Danny to Herrera. Al Haymon gives his boxers a list with potential opponents names of it, the fighters pick who they want to fight.
I find it very disturbing that a popular boxing ***8220;blogger***8221; would tweet such a link.
Top Rank shills can't stop this movement, it's has too much momentum.Last edited by MASTERBX; 04-22-2015, 04:54 PM.Comment
