I find the interesting thing about this chart is that Jr. only comes up on top with one other, and that's Rocky Marciano.

How is Marciano looked at years later? Mostly that he was undefeated because he fought a lot of weaker opposition whether it was because of his time period or not but that's what pops ups up when you think about him.

People can talk right now about what they feel is great about Jr. but I feel, many many years later, (were talking 50-60 years later), Jr. will most likely be talked about in the same light as Marciano. Who knows.

robinson and marciano fought in an era when there was one world champion.

robinson would take 10 round, non-title fights in between title fights to stay busy and make money.

The only thing that bothered me about Floyd's comments were when he said Ali only fought in one weight class. No **** you clown, he was a heavyweight.

The most ignorant **** Floyd has ever said and that says something.

can you imagine if they stratified ali's opponents every 6-7 lbs ?

there are quite a few weight classes in there if you care to draw lines in the sand, floyd.

For every Floyd supporter there will those who oppose him/them, which won't allow him to be #1. I think similar to how people rate Roy Jones not having fights with Collins, Eubank, or Benn.

Someone might say Floyd is the best ever, but others will say what about fighting Margarito, Prime Cotto or an earlier Mosley, maybe securing a Morales or Tszyu fight, Paul Williams, Joel Casamayor at 130.

And then if Floyd does happen to lose on May 2nd, any talk of him being #1 likely falls down the drain.

                  Ali would..........

This shows Floyd's ignorance. Ali is dying, first of all. Why not take the high road and show some class? Oh, yeah I forgot, it is Floyd we're talking about here. If Ali and Floyd were the same size, based on styles alone; Floyd gets F'd up 10 times out of 10! His defense only works on B Level guys and he STILL gets hit with flush shots. As a matter of fact, Floyd has taken more punishment in his last 2wo fights, than Manny has his last three. Smh. TBE. What a JOKE he is!!!!!!!!!

After careful consideration, though Tyson winning his first title against Trevor Berbick was nice, the second fight with Donovan "Razor" Ruddock was the most exciting. It was a non-title fight, more than a year after Tyson had tasted defeat by Buster Douglas. There was plenty of bad blood between Mike and Donovan after their first fight was controversially stopped. The rematch was a war!

In recent years I would say any of the young lions running around the division, Thurman in paticular who was his mandatory. Bradley would be another. Having 154 belts. but not fighting Lara or Andrade or even GGG who was willing to come down to 154 to fight him. To me that is what greats do. They fight people they probably are'nt suppose to beat and find a way to win. With Floyd's stature those are all fights that could of been done last year instead of him fighting Maidana twice.

The past I won't get into because I've seen that done to death and everyone knows the usual suspects that people mention and the reasons, you have a few in your signature. Anyways I'm mostly critcal of Floyd after coming out of retirement.
