Stats don't lie. Mayweather is not better than Ali or Sugar Ray.

I don't need a stat to tell me that a guy who fights once a year or maybe two, no matter his skill level, will never be better than SRR. The guy fought everyone, anyone, sometimes 5 times and he fought 2 or 3 times in a month at times. Floyd might have the better talent but his sack in comparison looks like a vagina. When Floyd hits 100 fights then maybe he'll be in the conversation.

SRR fought TONS of tomato cans. I think number of title fights are much more important than number of wins.

It's amazing that Floyd has more than SRR, considering SRR fought almost 200 times.

a champion is not defined based on his record itself or stats, didnt ALI deployed for military service ? thats why these guys will always be all time great not just because of their record, but as a whole inside and outside the right personal accomplishments, floyd is great but not an all time great nowhere near SRR or ali or even J Louis or even tyson IMO

No, Ali got banned from boxing for three years for refusing to enlist in the selective service during the Viet Nam war.

On April 28, 1967, boxing champion Muhammad Ali refuses to be inducted into the U.S. Army and is immediately stripped...

Tyson won the title @ the end of '86, defended it 4 times in '87, 3 times in '88 twice in '89, lost it in '90, and went to jail in '91 and didn't fight for 4 years. He won it back and lost it again in '96, and never held a title again. So he only held a title for a little more than 4 years.

they are all great. im pretty sure they all feel they are the greatest, nothing wrong with thinking ur the best, outside of some youtube vids i never saw robinson fight from what i hear he was great tho. ali was a beast and fought the better comp for sure. but im actually witnessing floyd fight in my era so i guess its why im more into his style. skill wise ill go with floyd if we are talking about the greater skilled boxer. i never understand when watchin ali why he never went to the body. Tyson was great and exciting but his greatest win was who?

Mayweather is near Ali in champions beaten. That's one of the most important stats on that chart.
