There is no doubt that Mayweather has carefully picked his opponents, especially in the second half of his career. If he beats Manny, he can blow his own horn a little louder. But if Manny beats him, well then we'll know why he's avoided him until now.

But even so, I was bored and decided to compile stats from Boxrec, and came up with a graph based on 10 major stats that I personally feel are the most important when comparing fighters. All are not here obviously, but I took 5 of the most famous boxers who are usually brought into any pound-for-pound conversations and compared them. In the end, my list ended up like this and Mayweather is not number 1. Nobody needs to get butthurt. Just laying out the stats.

          1.) Ali
          2.) Joe Louis
          3.) Sugar Ray Robinson
          4.) Floyd Mayweather
          5.) Mike Tyson
          6.) Rocky Marciano

Take a look for yourself. If you can appreciate this chart, fell free to share it. Thanks
What I look at is the in-ring performance stats. Floyd had the TOP 3 plus minus in the HISTORY of the sport. It peeked at 30, when he was 33 yrs old. SRL plus minus was 15, and he was washed up at 29 because he didnt train and dedicate himself like Floyd.

Ward currently has a plus minus of 15. But the thing is, boxing has evolved so much. It wasnt no Mayweathers, Pacmans, and Wards runnning around back then. They didnt exist until they got here. Gotta give it up to Floyd. Most skilled boxer in history based on the stats

This list is not that thorough because I was bored, but not THAT bored. I wasn't about to list 20 fighters. And Mayweather only said he is better than those two. It is widely believed that Ali and Sugar Ray are TBE, and they are consistently placed in the top 5 of most peoples lists. I put Joe Louis and Rocky because many people make an argument for them as well, especially the older generations. And I like Mike Tyson.

I know but up until 2013 Floyd was only defending the WBC title,so that holds true

If Ali and Floyd were the same size, based on styles alone; Floyd gets F'd up 10 times out of 10! His defense only works on B Level guys and he STILL gets hit with flush shots. As a matter of fact, Floyd has taken more punishment in his last 2wo fights, than Manny has his last three. Smh. TBE. What a JOKE he is!!!!!!!!!
