Having debate on face book and I categorized him as a footwork stlye of running, wasnt he?Did he not run around the ring and counter punch practically every fight.
Would you consider alis style of fightingas Running.

He was a boxer/ counterpuncher hybrid. He mainly used reflexes and timing, but could also become aggressive and finish off opponents with flurries and combinations, even predicting the round it would happen. He was a defensive fighter who could become offensive and entertain fans. -

Wrong running is a type of style of footwork....its much more than boxing...boxing is the whole art im talking a specific section of it,mainly footwork here. Two men who enter the ring are boxers,im talking footwork style and style in general, since ali relied on his feet more than his offense.Last edited by juggernaut666; 04-21-2015, 08:38 PM.Comment

I think what you have to realize is you're watching a heavyweight glide around the ring, it's just strange.
There are smaller fighters who just can't move like this.Comment
