Until Mayweather Loses (like SRR, Ali, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Benitez, etc., etc., etc.)
        Quits in the Ring (Duran...)
Gets Brutally KTFO (Pacquaio, Hearns, Duran...)
Loses to a Career LW (Leonard...)
Gets beat by a Noob (Ali...)

His claim as TBE has merit.

Point Blank, Period, End of Story.

        Suckas

Your comment will have some merit if Floyd defeats Pac convincingly, without the help of the referee (without being allowed to use his elbows, push and most of all, clinch endlessly every time he is being attacked).

In the meantime I still think all the guys you mentioned, that could have fought him because they sere in similar weight divisions (Leonard, Hearns and Duran) would have defeated him clearly. Please do mention any rival of his in his whole career, comparable even remotely, to any of those three guys?

How does he have a argument wHen SRR 147 campaign is better than his whole career.

Because he is an undefeated American fighter, after 17 years in the sport, having a 'rival' or 'nemesis' is really unimportant. Castillo? Maidana? Whatever floats your boat. The man has yet to lose a fight, after having fought every style of fighter.

Floyd has fought more current or future world champions than Pac, or just about anyone, EVER, but gets no credit for it. BTW, Ali was hated in his time also. Ali's high regard is more from fighting the U.S. government.

Thing is, i feel from a purely technical standpoint, Floyd is better than Ali. However, Ali's greatness is not predicated on that alone. It's going through adversity, overcoming odds inside and outside of the ring and his cultural impact is what made him "The Greatest". I think people can't separate the 2 plus Floyd's resume doesn't compare at all.
