nope not at all. Been saying it will be up to the fighters to seel themselves now. Chavez choose Fonfara and lost. It was a good fight but oh well for Chavez. PBC has both so its a win win

But i see now some question why he was put in tough but if he wasnt put in tough then you all would complain about that.

    Boxing fans are never happy

What he did makes no sense, he just dramatically reduced the value of one of his major cash cows.
Ultimately fighters make the decisions on who they fight. Nobody forced Chavez jr to take this fight. Chavez father was against the fight and advised his son not to take it. He is also on record saying it was his sons choice.

Jr. was never that good in the 1st place. In the end, Haymon is in a win-win because he will still make money off Jr. because he has his father's name and now has a rematch in his back pocket for Stevenson if the Kov/Adonis fight doesnt happen.
How is Haymon winning? They just had to give tickets away to fill up the seats in Chavez fight and Haymon just paid Arum at least 7 figures to take Chavez. Haymon has done well with other things, this is a huge fail on his part.

Once again. Multiple Haymon fighters have said that Haymon gives you a list of fighters and YOU CHOOSE WHICH ONE YOU WANT. It was Chavez' choice to face Fonfara.

Chavez is delusional and think to high about himself. Arum, his father, the fans everybody knows he is not good. Now Haymon knows too.

Hayman must be super FURIOUS! Dude even gave JR an "All Access: Chavez jr" lol - not an "All Access: Chavez vs Fonfara" - just "All Access: Chavez jr" lolol.

Haymon believed in Jr more tha Jr believed in himself. Tsk Tsk.

Chavez wanted to fight Adonis for the title so he went with Fonfara. He lost. Too bad. STop eating and smoking and make 168.

Probably figured Fonfara would be a zombie at 172 and Chavez would be able to walk through his shots and get him late.

Yeah and they were saying it was Chavez who had the harder time making weight. Make no mistake, none of this was due to Haymon. He just supplied a list of opponents and signed some checks. Chavez Jr and his crew failed to live up to their part. I cannot even see him being successful at 168 or even if he made it back to 160. He simply is not that good of a fighter. He never has been. His career has been carefully crafted.
