Hyde is not at all to blame in this situation. He is only acting out his role as manager.

Rigo and his leeching promoter are to blame for refusing to cooperate with Hyde despite the clear hard work he has put in and deals secured.

Suggest most of the posters read the article more closely.

I can see it from Hyde's point of view, and i dont think he's a bad person or manager, but as a Rigo fan I want to see him in with the best fighters in the world. With Haymon that at least has a chance of happening.

Sometimes relationships have to end, including business ones. holding out for the bitter end adding time on is getting no one anything.

Guys getting held hostage in ****** relationships in boxing is one of the biggest downers in the whole sport.

No way Haymon gives Caribe 20%. He would have bought them out by now if he felt there was money to be made. The only fighter he has signed to w promotional contract is Stevenson but the difference there is Yvon Michel has money and has a proven record of success. Caribe hasn't even staged a fight yet.

Rigos bigger plans are Caribe telling him about headlining in Miami in front of a trillion fans and making billions of dollars.

                I told you

Right outta the **** mouth, Gary Hyde has been just as instrumental in Rigo's stalled career as Caribe has been. And I also said the only way Rigo gets outta this mess is Al Haymon INC. warchest.

So now its been confirmed Al Haymon attempted to resurrect Rigo's career by offering to buyout manager Gary Hyde's contract with Rigo so he can get Rigo the fights and exposure that Gary "Greedy f'n Hyde cannot and NEVER WILL BE ABLE TO.

So again what is the purpose of Gary Hyde if Rigo clearly doesn't jive with him, and whatever the issues are Rigo would be privy to them obviously, and I bet everyone of them are valid points.

Gary Hyde is a demon , makes me sick, if its about $$$, Al Haymon was willing to buyout Gary so he can gets his f'n $$$ and Rigo could move on with his career, what is the point of Gary Hyde hanging onto someone you cant help and they don't want you?, AND Gary could get financially compensated.

I personally feel Gary Hyde is purposefully harming Rigo's career. Its too bad Rigo got took advantage of by Caribe and Gary Hyde, but I bet this September Gary hyde's idea that the contract can be extended will be challenged in court, just like with Chavez Jr and Top Rank.

Rigo will be signed with Al Haymon this September 2015 and Gary Hyde will have to get lawyered up, simple.

It does seem like Haymon tried to buy out Rigo's contract with Hyde even with Caribe still involved though.

Gary Hyde put up the funds to get him out of Cuba in the first place. If it wasn't for him Rigo would be fighting for his 4th gold medal next year.

Hyde is a business man too. If he was offered a buy out he should have took it and ran. If you have to pay Rigo $1.8 million per year and Caribe 20% on top for doing nothing how can you possibly make money on him?
