It's not that they're stopping him but they have nothing to offer to Roc Nation as a co-promoter. If Roc Nation promotes Rigo they're going to putting up all the money whereas Caribe will just collect 20%. They bring nothing to do the table, and then want to get paid as co-promoters.

Hyde wanted Rigo to part with Caribe so he could sign with Roc Nation instead. But Rigo, for some reason, refused to do that.

    Now it's costing him.

And Rigondeaux owes him NOTHING, it is not like Hyde wasn't getting his CUT, in fact he probably has made more off of Rigondeaux than Rigondeaux has made off of his work in the ring.

Fighters should have the right to opt of contracts if they're no longer happy with a Promoter or Manager
Congratulations. You have won the "most moronic post of the day" award

Usually every thing gets resolved by another Promoter or Manager coming in a just buying out the remainder of the contract

Boxing is extremely corrupt and I'm not just talking about the Judges who score the fights, a lot of these Promoters and Managers are very Dirty

It is likely that who ever Rigondeaux is planning to sign with in September, they probably found a loop hole in the contract in which they will be able to sign Rigondeaux and just pay what ever Hyde is owed on that contract
and the flip side to that coin is in alot of instances, after the promoter/manager has spent all the money, time, and effort developing the fighter and advancing his career, now that there is actually money being made, the fighter claims they are suddenly a free agent. lol

Caribe got there share. They do nothing for him at this stage. If me and you performed like Caribe at our jobs like Caribe we would get fired.

true story, and fyi I think Caribe are clowns. I was talking more in a general sense about how alot of fighters get amnesia about their contracts once money starts being made......

So now its been confirmed Al Haymon attempted to resurrect Rigo's career by offering to buyout manager Gary Hyde's contract with Rigo so he can get Rigo the fights and exposure that Gary "Greedy f'n Hyde cannot and NEVER WILL BE ABLE TO.

So again what is the purpose of Gary Hyde if Rigo clearly doesn't jive with him, and whatever the issues are Rigo would be privy to them obviously, and I bet everyone of them are valid points.

Gary Hyde is a demon , makes me sick, if its about $$$, Al Haymon was willing to buyout Gary so he can gets his f'n $$$ and Rigo could move on with his career, what is the point of Gary Hyde hanging onto someone you cant help and they don't want you?, AND Gary could get financially compensated.

I personally feel Gary Hyde is purposefully harming Rigo's career. Its too bad Rigo got took advantage of by Caribe and Gary Hyde, but I bet this September Gary hyde's idea that the contract can be extended will be challenged in court, just like with Chavez Jr and Top Rank.

Rigo will be signed with Al Haymon this September 2015 and Gary Hyde will have to get lawyered up, simple.

                :ANYWORD:
Yeah, Al Haymon doesn't care about money. Lord knows how he managed to become so wealthy himself when all he wants to do is give fortunes away to poor boxers like Rigo and stop them being ripped off by greedy Demons.

God bless Al Haymon. He is an Angel sent from Heaven to make boxers rich and keep them safe from harm with easy fights.

I'd say by his 3rd fight with Haymon and depending on the opponent 1.8mil easy breezy no problem.

its not far fetched at all for rigo to get that much especially if he put lsc vs rigo first fight with Haymon Chavez just made 2.4mil for his beat down

Santa Cruz is not nearly as popular as Chavez Jr. He hasn't even headlined a major card yet.

If Rigo expects $1 mil per fight we will never see him fight again.

lsc has a pretty good following even though he has done jack doesn't have to headline a card look at the money shelled out for co mains on pbc lowest I think was 1.2 mil for a co main unification fight sure he will see more then 1.2mil that's only if he signs with Haymon of course roc nation might give him a mil per fight nothing more then that
