If he hates one black guy, then he needs to address him personally and not in the manner that he did here. Kovalev is a smart guy, he knows what he's doing and understands the context. This was very hateful and has turned me off as a fan. This might also explain why he's looking to move away from his trainer and recently said up until now he's been winning by guts and determination. Round about way of saying he doesn't think much of John despite the perfect gameplan he executed against Hopkins and all other opponents.

Yea that's ironically how it often turns out...The countries with the least colonial history (Ireland, Russia, Eastern Europe) are often the most racist towards others where as the ones with the most colonial history (Britain, France, Netherlands etc) are the least racist in the modern time period....The exceptions of this rule being Spain and Portugal which were both heavily involved in colonialism and are still known to be pretty racist places in Europe...

Yea Greece is another perfect example...They themselves were conquered for hundreds of years by Arabs and yet they hate most foreigners......Poland is another one...Poland lost literally millions of people fighting the ****'s in WW2 (many of which were genocide and not war-battle casualties) and apparently Poland has a big problem with Neo ****'s (You would think that Polish people would despise ****'s consider the WW2 atrocities)....Yet Britain and Netherlands with hundreds of years of colonizing other countries (something that Greece and Poland never did) are extremely tame and tolerant in comparison....
