Manny Pacquiao, better fighter than Marvin Hagler, do you agree?

That's typical coming from you when every highly rated black fighter is overrated in your viewpoint. Comparing Hagler's career to Golovkin's is sheer ******ity and shows how limited and narrow minded your view of boxing is. You're right at home in NSB.

Also Pacquiao's flaws are right there in front of you. Every trainer, fighter and analyst has talked about his weaknesses, it's been heavily documented yet only a few were successful in beating him. He came and conquered 8 divisions with a reckless approach, a feat no one has reached in the history of boxing.

There's always a sense of bravado in each of his victorious fights. He's quite honestly what you want out of your boxer. You may not like his fanbase but if you're a fan of the sport, you absolutely have to acknowledge Pac's position in the annals of ATG.
That's the thing when your a fan of pac. The excitement when he gets totally aggressive while there's the fear of him getting hurt in return. The no bull approach. It's like mikhail tal in chess where he will sacrifice pieces to attack just to win the game for the fans.
Honestly, i have not watched majority of floyd's fight. haven't watched madiana fights. i got bored with safe approach to win. ok it's talent, it's boxing, but it can't hype me up. doesn't give me the thrill.

Can't knock Hagler because of his resume. He was avoided for most of his prime. Too black, too good, too southpaw.

I like Hagler, he was a great. He was nothing compared with Pac, that's purely an objective statement.

Canelo Alvarez is basically a "Super-Hagler"

Oh right. Yeah. NOW I get it!!

Hagler was a great boxer even for the now times. But he was nothing superior to any of the top guys today.

Alvarez is a better version of Hagler. The chin, the power, the speed. Manny Pac would lose to a much larger Hagler. But lb for lb, he blows Hagler out fo the water. If Hagler met Pac at a comparable weight, he'd be blitzed in my opinion.

This is in no way a mark on the quality of Hagler. It is really just indicative of the quality of Pacquiao to be rated against such high quality greats as Hagler.

Or similarly, it's indicative of Hagler's quality to be considered against guys like Canelo and Pac about 3 decades after his time!

No Hagler shouldn't have gotten the win. Keep in mind, that he was supposed to KO SRL. He questioned Ray's toughness and couldn't believe he actually signed the contract. Remember this, "Get your popcorn ready, 'cause it's going to be a short night". Ray took Hagler's best shots and barely moved. He was able to outsmart Hagler with angles, footspeed, handspeed, and flurries at the end of every round. He also had enough pop to keep Hagler honest. Don't be a HATER or uneducated or it will get exposed on here!

Hell no, Hagler is the greatest middle weight ever. He fought in a MUCH better era and beat better fighters. Hearns and Duran are better than anybody Pacquiao has beaten. Hagler had a complete skill set. Fighters don't dominate divisions today the way Hagler did.

What he did was basically unprecedented!
Yes, because his titles against the likes of Diaz and Margarito are absolutely legitimate. They carry tremendous weight.

Hearns and Duran are better wins than any Pac has but I agree Pac at his best was a much more versatile southpaw. Hagler can seem a bit rigid at times.
