But the commercials suck. All i see is promos for other fighters I, the casual fan, knows nothing about. Why would they introduce me to guys like this?

Don't get me started on the lack of a ring announcer or card girls. Once the fight is done and over with, I make it a point to remember these people before the actual fights. Plus the lights.. man oh man, you see, I tend not to care about the fight and my lack of attention is that of a fish, so I tune fights out and notice the lights are dark around the arena, the ropes are black and I cry a lot.

Holler if you hear me!!! I unlike you, only care about other things that I have no control over. Like ticket prices, gate revenue, which commercials are gonna show and hoping that the ratings suck so we have less boxing on tv. Whether it be regular tv or basic/premium cable


So be joyous over more boxing being shown, I'll continue to look at things like celebrities in the crowd

What's wrong with highlighting upcoming fights/fighters between rounds.. To grow the sport to casuals fans, you need to highlight them..
If Ruslan v lucas was on PBC, none of the casuals would have any idea who these guys were, just like garcia-Peterson... While you have casuals watching boxing, you have to promote upcoming events...

I'm glad it's doing well. The longer it is aired nationally, the better. And mainly NBC & CBS is what I'm talking about, because casual fans, who the sport is trying to draw closer, aren't seeking out Spike TV for a fight. Lets be real.

However on giant national networks like NBC & CBS -- casuals we'll be likely to flip past those by chance and end up staying for the show.

hahahahahahahaha pbc sucks and its ratings will keep going down. people need to come to terms with reality and that is pbc is a sinking ship. i said it from the beginning that pbc ratings wouldn't do better than it's debut and i was RIGHT. people wake up please. PBC is not boxing and it it will fail hard. move on okay???

The ratings seem only 'ok', but only if in the long term NBC is willing to pay big money for something that they are getting for free currently.
