Nobody can defend Khan fighting Algieri in the same way nobody can defend Manny fighting him.

Boxing is about levels - Algieri is not on the same level as either.

Algieri was a blatant cherry for Khan, he is available, limited, has no KO power and is just a total vanilla card fighter.

I would rather have seen Khan take a challenge - Bradley and Brook were ducked.

Even if Khan fought Berto I'd have more respect for him than this.

I still think this is a good fight, but will be pretty much all technical with little drama. I got to hand it to Algieri. He has managed to secure himself some pretty good paydays over the last year! It's too bad he's got pillow fists, otherwise he would be a lot more dangerous.
