Bow down? He's getting over 5 million and the chance to end Brook's career since he doesn't like him so much.

Brook doesn't become a star at all if Khan beats his ass but the more Khan doesn't fight him, the more Brook builds his name and can use the fact that Khan is ducking him as a selling point.

The easiest way to not have Brook piggy back off you is to beat him, take his title, take 5 mili and kill his career. He also ends another "Hern" hypejob. Two birds, one stone.
