I saw someone post in another thread that the Swift fans thinks he's a SPECIAL fighter....I been telling you Swift critics that he's blue collar and not blue chip...of course he has his flaws, of course he doesn't do anything GREAT....as a LOYAL Swift fan I know he's beatable and one day he will take a L...he won't retire undefeated....he'll NEVER be P4P top dog....but he's a LEGIT world champ because he TOOK the belts....no vacant ****, he beat other world champs for his straps

he's fought the BEST dudes in his weight class and have beaten them...a couple of decisions could've gone against him in fights that were close...but the judges scored those fights for him....that mixed with the fact that he's beaten a few fighters decisively that he wasn't supposed to has generated abnormal animosity from so called boxing fans

the kid is 30-0....he finds ways to win fights....he's a tough mutha****a with a sick left hook, a nice right hand and a elite chin....he's a GOOD fighter...not a special one!!....there's only a handful of SPECIAL fighters in the sport....Floyd, BHop, Pac, Ward and Marquez...everybody else is either, GOOD, AVERAGE or getting hyped up from KOing bums....if Swift fought Rod Salkas every fight then he would get praised like GGG....so GTFOH with that Swift bashing....some of you need to find a chill button...FOR REAL!!

Good post but I just don't like guys profiting from robberies. Garcia should have taken his losses like a man and regrouped.

He's a very limited fighter that has gotten the maximum out of the talent he has. He now has a clear loss to Herrera where he was thoroughly outboxed, and a closer, but clear enough, loss to Lamont Peterson, where he got knocked around like Adonis Stevenson's hoe

His wins over Khan and Matthysse are very good wins, and his resume is better than the vast majority of Haymon fighters, but he's been found out. Any good boxer mover beats him (in actual terms, in a non-robbery vacuum lol).

The past 12 months has been Garcia getting exposed. He truly is Danny "Gift" Garcia"

How would he do vs Herrera and Peterson again? 2 more losses probably. Algeiri? Khan again? All 100% losses I think. Pac and Floyd wipe the floor with him.

He'll keep stealing those fights as long as it keeps making Al Haymon rich. We've seen this with Floyd for God knows how long. We would have seen the same BS with Broner is if werent for the AB Chino put on him.

I'll be first to admit I see Garcia very exposed and limited despite being a huge fan after his Khan win.

He really has problems with movers and when you break down his style, it's mostly him throwing lots of hooks and the occasional straight right while standing completely stationary. Thus if anyone moves, they are out of target and he has to reset each time.

I think he can be in some fun fights still and he's very young. But he definitely has to make some improvements to his game that I don't think his father can do for him. He would need a world class trainer to point out the flaws. A stubborn father will never correct a "perfect" son.

I've been saying the same thing since before the Lucas win. I think he's been exposed though. If you don't stand right in front of him to get countered with the no look left hook, then there's not much else in his arsenal. One thing I will give him credit for is a big heart and great chin. He doesn't get discouraged even when he's getting outboxed and he can take a hell of a punch!

Danny keeps winning fights and people keep getting mad. Just because the Herrera fight was likely a loss, doesn't mean all of his fights were robberies.

He's better than Khan and better than Matthysse. Posters here just need to accept that. Guys like Khan and Matthysse get over hyped all the time. when a guy like Danny shows the world what they really are and brings them back to earth he became the focal point of posters criticism.

whats sad is hoes like you that are so bitter Danny beat Lucas in the ring. Get over it and accept the fact that Danny is better than Lucas. Always was and always will be.

You can't blame DG - yes he had some gift decisions (Herrera) and fought a bum in Salka BUT he has some very notable wins as well.

He has 2 World Titles and is undefeated (with a little help from Uncle Al).
