It would give even more room for all the CJ Ross of the world to have crooked cards imo.

I mean they can do that now, how would that really make things worse?

Boxers clearly winning a round and only getting awarded a 10 to 9,5 etc and more apologists trying to rationalyze robberies afterwards.

How is that different though? To me that is nothing, there are going to be differences in how rounds are scored no matter the system so why not try and be as accurate as possible with the system.

There is no accuracy at all now

10pt is fine imo. I just think you need more judges. Like a media certified judges. Have a minimum of like 9-10 media members and the maximum would just be the total of actual certified media members.

Using the entire points 1 through 10 makes it even less accurate because then it's up to the judge's subjectivity. I don't see how it would be more accurate. Why would you give a judge the option to give a boxer just 1 point for a round? What would that accomplish? Right now it's 10 or 9pt round and -1 for every knockdown. It's not accurate but it's more fair than a judge just not feeling a boxer and giving him 1pt for the round.

You could have the most accurate scoring system in the world and incoruptable judges and boxing fans will still b1tch and moan about results.

                    Wrong.
That is the definition of a judge. If they are corrupt to change an outcome it's getting changed no matter what

I am for half points, that is what I want brought in.

Now using all 10 a guy should only score one if they are getting absolutely destroyed. Right now it wouldn't be fair because there would be no way back in a fight, but if they were more ******* with taking points away it is possible it could be come back from.

I want fight scoring to be able to accurately depict a fight, and right now a guy can win a close fight 120-108 winning every round by an inch, and people would ***** saying that fight is way closer but really if you win every round by an inch that is a legitimate score. Is that really a depiction of the fight? I would say no.

So you can have a close fight be scored totally one sided if you liked the other guys work just barely, and it actually make sense because if you liked a guy in one round you are probably going to like his work throughout.

The 10 point must system is just too basic to accurately depict the complicated nature of a fight as it is now. Corrupt or wrong judging will always be an issue as long as humans are involved so that is not a valid reason not to make the system better.
