How did you score Garcia vs. Peterson?

I think Peterson deserved the nod.

The first half of the fight was close, it all comes down on whether one scores some of them for Lamont for ring generalship and defense, or for Garcia because of his few , albeit bigger, punches.

Personally, I remember giving Peterson two or three of the first 6 rounds just because Garcia was landing nothing.

Seriously, Theophane, Herrera, and now Peterson. Plus old and shot versions of Morales (first fight) and Judah gave him hell as well. I like Garcia, but this guys should have 2-3 losses by now, it's ridiculous he's still carrying that 0 around his record.

I had Peterson up 2 rounds or so.

The thing is, there were clear cut Peterson rounds in this fight, but there weren't clear cut Garcia rounds.

I don't know how anyone watching the fight can conclusively give Garcia 5 of the first 6 rounds. They were close rounds. Do you give the champion every close round in the fight? Garcia was moving forward but missing wildly. Peterson didn't throw much, but at least he forced Garcia to fight his type of fight.

The last 4 rounds were very obvious rounds for Peterson. Looking back I'm sure Peterson probably regrets fighting so defensive early on, but he still should have picked up some of those early rounds from the judges.

None of those fights were robberies.

Especially not Theophane or Peterson.
