Name one fighter who would have beaten Vitali. After Lewis retired, VK was practically unchallengeable by the inferior opponents we have today. Also, who cares if Taylor didn't look like a superstar against Hopkins...EVERYONE thought Taylor was too green and would lose. Now that he didn't(TWICE), everyone says he didn't look "badass" enough. I swear, I'm glad I don't use this forum as boxing knowledge, because most of the people on here are ****ing ******ed when it comes to boxing.

simply not true: a lot of experts predicted that hopkins, because of his age would not be able to take the pressure from a young and strong middleweight. (I think the poor showing against eastman was a good indicator)

its not only he did not look bad-ass enough, (you could say the same for sweet pea's or winky's fights, that's not a reasonable point): he looked like **** and lots of ppl had him losing the 1st fight,

I had the first Taylor-Hopkins fight as a draw, but I had Taylor winning the rematch. I think either guy, Hatton or Taylor, was worthy. I wouldn't argue with either pick.

Same here. Both fighters are great fighters and there's should be no arguements on the results.

It's just that some people here have the habbit of TRASHING and DISCREDITING other fighters for their boys to "shine".

really, so losing a title fight and having it given to you without deserving it makes you a real champ? i guess vitali was a real champ too huh.

Ummm. Yeh, Vitali was the only real champ until his retirement...I guess you don't follow boxing closely enough to know that he beat Sanders after the Lewis loss.

Whether you agree or disagree with the decision is not an issue. What matters is that there is a W on Taylor's record, an L on Hopkins. While that's not always the case, in a fight that close, it certainly was.
