Promoting is about building relationships not burning every bridge you come to.

Its funny you say that because when Floyd didn't wanna work with arum, everyone said he was ducking.

now all of a sudden it's a legit reason not too make the biggest fights possible.

They think Frampton is Naz or something.

There is a pretty lowkey, probably unbeatable Cuban in their division likely to shit on their dreams.

Quigg is a problem too. Dirk has touched on it but Quigg is a bit specialist. Bless him but he is.

He is not going to talk anyone sat on the fence into staying in on a Saturday night to watch him and shell out money for the honour.
Not when the fight could generate a hell of a lot more in revenue which Hearn will get to keep himself.

He'd probably give Quigg a few 100k and pocket the rest himself without Simple Scott even having a clue

Yeah 60/40 to the winner. And Quigg could "win" by some nefarious means seeing as it's in his hometown on a Matchroom show.

They know Frampton is the name in the fight so why won't they just give him 60/40 like he deserves?

If Golovkin or Ward's people came to Hearn and said "60/40 to the winner" against Carl Froch....would he accept?

I like Eddie, but he's had a bit of a nightmare in the last few days.

He is trying to make fights, but his ego is getting in the way. Quigg-Frampton in particular is looking likely to fall through purely because Eddie is trying to pull a fly one and pocket the money that Frampton will generate.

How much money do you think Frampton could generate though?

            I think I've missed something.

Scott Quigg isn't going to sell the fight to the casual.

Oh and yes, Scott Quigg's level of intelligence is downright hilarious.

He was on TV holding that cheque completely oblivious to what was going on.

Cracking opening post and thread Dirk, gotta say. Hardly ever see well written pieces like that, with objective points and humour (that articles lack). Hate to bum lick too much but essentially agree on all points made. And we've had our disagreements in the past.

I've become pretty sick of Khan the past year. His attitude and opinion of himself annoys the hell out of me, all he does is reel out names in the media like there all going to drop at King Khan's knee's in thanks for being mentioned in his breath, and welcoming the opportunity to fight him.

Fuck off Khan, get fighting and stop contradicting yourself with lame excuses.

Can't really disagree on Eddie Hearn. Whilst I don't think he'll go totally rogue, he is milking the domestic dust up stuff. But then hey post the Groves Froch thing, it was all good for boxing and a businessmen is going to repeat what works on a large scale. Whatever gets people watching boxing, whether the minority hardcore fans know better or not, it does help the game too.

Like you said Eddie started off as a breath of fresh air,but now stinks of pork scratchings, phagz and farts.

His arrogance is off putting and its no wonder nobody likes him. The only person who gets on with him is Froch, who himself is a arrogant ****.

If he doesn't sort out his behavior and tame his mouth, he's going to do a lot of harm to the future of boxing here in Britain

In contrast Frank Warren is a man of few words, always keeps it professional and gets fights made

Frank Warren is as slimy as they come. Professional? He has a history of not paying fighters. They are all as bad as each other.
