I think it was more of a huge mistake by the lawyers in not making sure everything was sorted. Ricky obviously wanted to leave due to not getting paid on time by Warren but he's only a boxer and accepted what was advised by his manager and the lawyers. I can't even recall any kind of statement or clarification made by Hearn

PPV should be reserved for PPV fighters or a PPV worthy fight.

Who the *** knows who Kevin Mitchell or Lee Selby are? Anthony Joshua is a growing star but he's not a PPV fighter yet. It's a very very good card for normal Sky Sports but should not be PPV.

I'm sure he was planning on doing Brook-Gavin as a PPV next year and this is just his way of sneaking it out early because he's under pressure to deliver.
Thinking about it didn't Hearn say ppv would only be used for fights that needed it to get the revenue ala froch-kessler 2 so maybe you are right But I would pay for this and not stream it like I did for bellew-cleverly

Please allow Dunn to sum up the state of English boxing-

          Haye-f@ggot doing nothing
Froch-getting SAG card to be an actor
          Frampton/Quigg-scared of Rigo
Hatton-part time promoter full time drunk
Brook-cherry picking and picking up stray men
          Joshua-lot of potential
          Fury-still poppin ****
          Degale/Murray/Eubanks-who gives a f-ck
Khan-all of the above and a disgraceful fuccboi to boot
Box Office-khan's ball washer and mouthpiece
          Weebler I-still mad at Cortez
Dirk Diggler-fresh off a ban and very sad

            Cornelius lol, Cornholio more like.

It's ironic that he made a video on IFL last year about how people should never get greedy for a pound note because things will turn bad for you, only for Hearn not to follow his own advice, put Bellew-Cleverly on PPV, and have the core british boxing fans turn on him en masse.

He's a billy big balls, can't see past himself. Whatever.

*** me, I forgot to post about his contradictions.

Remember how much he slagged off Frank Warren for whipping out emails about offers made to Carl Froch for the Cleverly fight and now he's posing on Sky Sports News with a ***ing cheque in his hand?

He also ripped Warren for announcing fights that hadn't been signed yet like Wilder-Chisora and then he announces the DeGale-Dirrell fight for April 25th at the O2 only to get mugged off by Haymon in the purse bid.

He clearly needs to be taken down a peg or two.
What you are saying with your monologue is that Eddie Hearn, by grandstanding and giving boxing fans garbage fights, has turned into a typical boxing promoter!

Yes essentially but he has a lot of fans amongst the casual and young crowd who see him as relatable and "one of them".

I must admit that I was ****** in a bit at the start but he's really starting to show his true colours recently.

A typical boxing promoter. This is no different that what Don King, Bob Arum and Golden Boy Promotions have done and (in the case of Arum and GBP) continue to do in the U.S. They give fans 10 pieces of horsemeat and then give you a filet mignon and have fans convinced that they are eating well.

This is also no different than what pimps do to recruit a new ho.

                      This.

Ever since it became clear Groves and Khan wouldn't fight his guys a few weeks ago I think he's been under a lot of pressure from sky and is getting desperate for that stadium fight sky said they want every year.
