Hasn't Thurman called out Khan also? Why doesn't Khan fight him in the states instead of Algieri?

Because unlike Khan Brook can fight during the summer. Thurman isn't permitted to fight as early as may due to that hematoma. Instead of fighting a pointless fight with Frankie Gavin or punching bag Rios in August, make a fight with Thurman in july or something.

I dont think its that bad for a stay busy fight.
I dont think gavin deserves the shot or that he will win but at the end of the year if brooks first 4 defences have been against dan,gavin, rios and then bradley/porter that will be pretty decent. Going forward Brook will have to keep the quality of opponents to that level of rios/bradley/porter though

Its an absolute joke of a fight much much worse than Algieri. Looks like Brooks going to continue his old habit of being carefully managed until the Khan fight.

Khan should fight Thurman instead next year. Most like he'd get stopped but if he pulls it out like he did against Maidana then he will get the big pay day.
