Brook has just fulfilled his mandatory obligations. He's having to fight a dangerous, highly ranked competitor in Gavin because he wants to stay active.

People don't complain when GGG does it so what's the difference with Brook?
      IBF has different rules.

how is fun time dangerous. He was schooled by Bundu. He wouldnt win a round v Alegri.

This is poor and shouldn't happen.

Because of Brook Gavin, all of a sudden Khan - Algieri is a fantastic match up.

Burns v who? Burns is a bum who has the bank account to match. He will get smashed by anyone at 147. Possibly killed.

I get Hearn wants to add him to a card and not have him lose or get hurt before the bigger fight. I also get keeping a fighter active and have him in a showcase fight that makes future fights that much bigger.

Just because you don't get the fight you want doesn't mean its ok to make a fight like this.

Like I said Hearn and Brook will not fight a THREAT unless they get the financial security payment against Khan before hand so they have something to fall back on if they lose. Thurmans been calling brook out for a while now and he is willing to come to the UK but Brook and Hearn want none of it. Terrible fight, but very predictable afterall Khan did predict Brook would carry on fighting bums just like his last 33 opponents

Hasn't Thurman called out Khan also? Why doesn't Khan fight him in the states instead of Algieri?

Not bad for a stay busy fight, remember they plan on him returning back in July or August so at least he is going to be active.

Guys likes Bradley or whoever aren't going to fight on May 30th that's way too soon.

                      Unfortunately, it's not Thurman's decision.

Haymon isn't sending Thurman to the UK, not a chance.
