I think the Canelo point is spot on, Oscar hitched his wagon to that horse so it is ride or die with Canelo. They have some other decent fighters like Sadam Ali, Matthysse and Lemieux if they can get that sorted but none of those guys have networks clamoring to work with GBP.

If Canelo is not a long term player Oscar has real problems, and I don't think Canelo is that sort of driven to really last in the sport (too much too soon kind of deal).

Also it was Oscar who did this to his company by being an absentee owner and then coming back totally ****ting on the plans that were built in his absence that were working. You can't blow something up like that and not expect to reap the consequences, all Oscar had to do was shut up and smile (what he is best at) and be on winning side. He made a choice that was his right with his company, but that doesn't make what he did very wise.

Well, maybe if those plans included him he wouldn't have had to....

It is Oscar responsibility to be involved in his business, he empowered others to get the job done and they had done that.

If he wants it done his way, then getting coked out and getting his booty hole stretched out needed to be put on the back burner. He came back and ****ed the dudes who were his allies helping his company. Why so he could chat with Arum? Has anything come of those conversation other than getting Oscar to totally **** his company.
There are consequences to that, that Oscar I don't think really thought about.

They weren't his allies and they weren't helping his company.

Oscar was the face of the company, it was up to his CEO, Schaeffer to ensure the good health of the business. But Schaeffer instead allowed GBP fighters to sign deals with Haymon and not extend contracts with GBP. When Oscar was in rehab trying to heal, he gets sent papers by Schaeffer and Haymon to sign over his company as a sale.

Yeah, really ****ing good job that your hired CEO was doing, for the best interest of the company. It was an atrocity what happened, and I'm glad that Oscar finally came to his senses about it all.

If they were really looking out for the company a/o his firends, they wouldnt have let haymon sign those fighters. Its ODLH's prerogative to work with whoever he wants to, especailly as President and even moreso if he wanted to make BETTER fights for the fans. Its NOT others responsibility to chop up the shop and split the company.

Throw in the fact that the pos shafter was/is his bro in law or somehow related by marriage

I thought Arum was going to assist GBP by co-promoting a few events

ODLH, came back and burned all bridges that had been built around GBP (Right or wrong) Those bridges kept GBP in the forefront of boxing.

Now .... 1.) when was the last GBP PPV 2.) When was the last TR\GBP collaboration.

Something went wrong with ODLH's post-take-control plans.

Well...if you look at Top Rank's upcoming TruTV schedule, on their May 15 fight card there's a fight that GBP originally had scheduled as the co-main event for their last HBO Latino card (Antonio Orozco-Emmanuel Taylor).

                      Orozco is promoted by GBP.

So Top Rank is having a GBP fighter featured on one of their fight cards.
