For those who are saying Brook only fights tomato cans, I don't think even his biggest fans would deny he's had his fair share. But credit where it's due, he left the UK and won the title from an undefeated fighter when many were writing him off, including the bookies (around a 2-1 underdog, -200 US odds).

I remember Porter being built up as a monster before Brook won (fairly, although I'll admit it was close) although whilst saying that Thurman does look to be better than Porter.
That's a good solid assessment. Brook has faced many less talented fighters, but (unlike some) he's also improved every time he's stepped up to the next level. Carson Jones was the biggest stumbling block, but Kell took the rematch to clear up any doubt.

Berto's been out for a while but he's far from and easy target.

I think Berto v Brook would be an entertaining fight, Berto always shows up and tries to win. I've always felt that Berto's problem is his arms are too short for WW and he is too thick to go down in weight.

Rios is a better fight than this.

Brook has a lot of options. How many has he name-dropped so far? He mentioned Thurman, Rios, Marquez, Chaves(?)...

So far, we haven't heard any negotiations taking place.

Not the greatest fight ever, but Berto would still be his second best win and Berto normally puts on a solid show (although in this case there might be quite a bit of greco-roman wrestling).

Berto loses to anyone good at welterweight. Josesito was beating him till he started getting hammered. Brook would mop the floor with Berto.

Not a bad name for brook to fight to be honest.

Brook needs to make a decision ASAP on who he's going to fight next so that these people would stop bringing up his name. What is he waiting for? Khan already made it clear he won't be fighting him till after the month of Ramadan. If he wants another No No Dan, why not say so?

Those fights are not for May, they are for July.

Hearn said negotiations were taking place with the guy they want, which is Rios.
