I think it'll be DiBella. A touchy, middle-age bald guy is the ideal counterpart to Dana.Comment

I get that a certain set doesn't like him but his track record in the sport is sound better than a guy like Dibella. If it was going to be Lou he would have the gig already, or anyone like that really.Comment

Ok,can anyone explain to me how adding more belts would help with anything? I'm assuming that these belts are strictly for haymon fighters, and they won't be unified with the other belts. So basically are these "who's the best haymon fighter belts"?Comment

How about you tell us how much money PBC is making? I don't give a damn how much others are making or have made or will make in the future. It has no bearing on the subject at hand. HOW MUCH IS PBC PULLING IN VIA SPONSORSHIP MONEY?
Comparing PBC to WWE and UFC and MLB and the NFL is pointless and irrelevant. It is an attempt to cloud the waters. This is not the first time boxing has been attempted on network television. It did not work in the past and it will not work today as a major financial success. We live in a world where parents are pulling their kids out of little league football and peewee hockey is banning body checks due to head injuries. Do you really think boxing with people getting their heads beat in will be a main stream success?
The only time boxing has ever been successful on modern television was in the days of Wide World of Sports who presented the occasional big fight. Apart from the odd super fight, boxing was almost always presented as part of an anthology sports show.
Those shows no longer exist as they have been replaced by dedicated sports television networks.
It's a niche sport, it will remain a niche sport. It will never compete with team sports on a financial basis and they do not belong in the same thread.
Jesus dude,, you need help...
You do realize that boxing was one of the top 2 sports along with baseball from 1920s-1980s... Premium networks, PPv, multiplication of title belts and sanctioning bodies, crap match making were the downfall of boxing...
Boxing wasn't a niche sport, but turned itself into a niche sport by the things I listed...
Haymon is trying to recreate the golden era of boxing from the 20s-80s.. Free competitve fights on network..
You thinking it's always a niche sport shows that you have probably only been watching a few years...Comment
