You do realize that Haymon will have to cancel every contract he has as an advisor or manager with every fighter, don't you? If not, he is in conflict of interest in one hell of a big way. He cannot start a boxing league and become in effect the boss of all his fighters and be their personal representative at the same time. How will he negotiate contracts? By discussing it with himself in a mirror? Can you imagine Bud Selig while being Commissioner of Baseball, also being in charge of the players' union? Or a team owner being in charge of a players' union in any sport? It simply will not fly.
I understand that fighters are not the brightest individuals on the planet, but even so, eventually one of them will open their eyes and realize that something is very, very wrong with this picture.
I have no idea how some posters actually think this is a good idea. It may end up doing so much damage to the sport that it will take decades to repair, if ever.
