He didn't really use his weight much.
Although Floyd won clearer in the 2nd fight, I thought he looked much worse, he was getting feinted to the ropes pretty bad, reflexes accuracy and speed looked a lot worse. Movement was significantly reduced after the 6th was generally more sluggish.
He's in a dangerous place if he's trapped on the ropes.

Let's not forget it took Marquez over 36 rds to finally get that KO of Pac and although he had Pac's style down pretty well, Pac still gave him hell for those fights regardless of whether you think Pac won them or not.
Someone mentioned feints, I too believe these can work well against Jr. Pac has some of the best feints when he's kicking on all gears. The sheer confusion he puts his opponents in have them guessing completely where the punches are coming at or they are defending the wrong places. Now I'm sure Jr. will be able to handle the feints a bit better than most, but when your tired, that's when the punches start to land that you don't think will because your not sure where hell they coming from and too tired to react in time.

Are you telling me it's not logical to think that? Yes, they fight differently, but, Floyd can do everything that Marquez can do, can he not? Do you really believe that if need be, Floyd can't fight like Marquez does? If not, go back and look at how he fought in the lower weights with combinations and taking lots of chances. He doesn't need to though. It seems that you are suggesting that I am saying that he needs to fight like Marquez to beat Pac, when there is more than one way to beat Pac and Marquez took A LOT of lumps doing it. I think Floyd does it and does it without taking near as much punishment. Regardless, it's all speculation on everyone's part. We just have to wait until May 2nd to see what happen.

The concern is he feints, then plants and leap in. Do you agree or disagee?
