Someone mentioned feints, I too believe these can work well against Jr. Pac has some of the best feints when he's kicking on all gears. The sheer confusion he puts his opponents in have them guessing completely where the punches are coming at or they are defending the wrong places. Now I'm sure Jr. will be able to handle the feints a bit better than most, but when your tired, that's when the punches start to land that you don't think will because your not sure where hell they coming from and too tired to react in time.
He's not going to be watching the feints. He'll be watching Manny's feet.

no, i am not saying anything close to saying floyd needs to fight like marquez to be successful against manny, i think u're the one that is trying to suggest that just because they're both counter punchers. marquez went thru hell and back plus 4 fights to "figure" manny out.
Not to mention Marquez has more general movement, more lateral movement, hits harder, throws more combinations and is never trapped on the ropes. He never goes into a defensive shell like Floyd does when he's being attacked.
How does Freddie now understand how to avoid the traps and right hands after Manny has been eating them during his time training Manny. Is he saying for this fight, we're going to now be defensive responsible?
Exactly...and if that's the case, that means Pac is thinking more. The more he is "thinking" the more his punch count is going to decrease.

Why would Pac be any different than any other fighter? Jmm adapated easily in fight #1, you really don't think that FLoyd can? I agree..I just feel that Floyd will have a lot more of them than Pac will.
I don't think it will be a walk in the park either. At least not until the 4-5 round. After that, I believe it will be an pretty ez fight for Floyd and he either stops Pac late or unanimously decisions him.

Yes, the body work is the key. Both have legitimate punches, both have speed. But Floyd murders the body. Jabs, straight rights, and left hooks off the right hand to the body. I haven't heard many people on this forum talk about the body work that Floyd does. Hell, I saw him do his lunging left hook to the body against Zab and Guerrero.

I think this is what is ulimately gonna do Pac in. Floyd is gonna invest in his body from the early rounds while being defensively responsible, slow his hands down and then drown him in later rounds.
