Rios will be one of the fights.

He's willing to travel to the UK, a known name and coming off a win. It's not a fight I'm overly happy about, but it's likely one that will take place.

rios is solid. people thought diego chaves was going to run over him and he held his own and was the aggressor in the fight. brook probably wins, but bam bam will make him take punishment. might even put him in a carson jones moment. its a worthwhile fight. thurman, khan and the other big fish don't want it. its the best name that is willing to fight brook at the moment. tell me a bigger name that is willing to enter the ring with brook right now

he doesn't need to sign with haymon. right now he can fight any fighter on any network. signing with haymon limits his options. berto and soto karass are below rios' level now imo

Berto and Rios are on the same level right now

          Nothing to brag about

Berto might end up being Brooks next fight after Rios

He can fight anyone, but he's not looking for challenges. He's looking for fights that would guarantee him victory. He's not thinking big. He doesn't have the heart of a champion. He should fight Thurman. If he beats him, he could have the most chance of getting either Mayweather or Pacquiao.

I don't know about Mayweather, but Pacquiao is not retiring anytime soon, win or lose in the megafight.

Can I just ask, on a serious note, why people think making the Thurman fight would be so easy?

I know Keith said he'd come over, but do you think Al Haymon would allow that to happen? Al isn't exactly known for making the difficult fights for his guys, especially on foreign soil.

I think Thurman-Brook is the 2nd best fight in the division, but I don't see it as an easy fight to make.

Thurmann fight can be made cuz Kell has a title, and Keith said he is willing to come over here and fight

Al and Hern have a working relationship

Brook wants no parts of Thurmann, u can hear it in his voice and when he fails to mention Keith in the post fight call out

Thurmann is the elephant in Brooks room.

I think Brook will wait to see Thurmann slip up a bit before he takes him on, right now he doesnt have the confidence..or at least Hern doesnt believe Kell can do it

and tbh i wudnt be surprised if Khan takes on Thurmann before Brook, once the Floyd ship has sailed

Brook mentioned Thurman straight after the Porter fight. He has mentioned him several times before.

Gotta love when fans selectively pick out interviews where a fighter doesn't mention every name under the sun and say "oh look he didn't mention him there, he's scared".

                  Absolute ******ity.

if rios and berto fought who would you be picking? i'd pick rios by stoppage. i think he could do a guerrero job on berto. he is too savage on the inside for andre imo. whats your take?

i agree. it's a fight i think both fighters would be willing to accept. getting haymon and hearn to put the money into it to make it happen is another story. haymon may already have thurman's next move mapped out. he just made a splash on PBC. getting the ibf title shot seems like a logical move. i'm not sure it happens right away though. i hope they do move to get this fight made though while both guys are undefeated. winner would be absolutely the most worthy of may-pac winner. here's to wishful thinking though i won't set my hopes on it. seems like both are moving in other directions at this time.
